People ask me about "packages." I don't offer packages. I just give you everything.

WEDDINGS: My services are based on a FLAT FEE of $1,600 for the entire wedding day (getting ready for both bride and groom, preformals, ceremony/formals, and reception). A half-price print-only option is available. If you book your wedding with me I'll shoot your engagement/bridal session for $200* and include a free 20x30 or 20x24 print you can display at your wedding. Transportation fees apply to locations over 50 miles from Tulsa. *Engagement/bridal session price includes a $100 booking discount, applied to total wedding photography bill. Regular price is $300. Facility rental fees may also be extra. Individual alterations to contracts may supercede information on this website. Also, information provided on this website takes precedence over any older information published on other websites that may link to mine or which list my business services. This includes pricing and services offered. Prices are subject to change without notice. The only way to lock in a rate is to sign a contract and pay a deposit for your event. Ian B. Danziger wedding and event photography offers photojournalistic "storybookwedding" and traditional style coverage of your entire wedding from getting ready through the ceremony and reception. I'm not a big studio, just a photographer who loves his work: photographing people. Instead of selling you "byproducts" of your wedding day, I give you the entire photo shoot to use however you like. Yes, I'm an "artist" but I believe you are hiring me to produce a product for YOU that will belong to YOU and which can be used and altered in any way by YOU.

BASIC SERVICES: I cover your entire event from start to finish, typically 8-10 hours. Immediately after the event, I'll do preliminary editing and then put the photos online for you to see and to share with your friends and family (and even buy prints right away if you want).You get all your images in a free online gallery that doesn't expire. Full reprint permission included with all FREELY downloadable digital negatives and inexpensive prints on my a la carte gallery print services for weddings. You also get lifetime retouching on your gallery. You get your full resolution images on DVD upon request. Online print prices for weddings are $1.50 for a 4x6, $3 for a 5x7, and $5 for an 8x10. Other print sizes and various photo merchandise are also available. You may also prefer my $800 print-only option where the gallery is not downloadable and you don't get a disk. Digital negatives are defined here as full resolution .jpg images with minimum compression and highest quality available.

When comparing my galleries at http://ibd-designs.smugmug.com to those of other photographers, remember that what you see are entire photo jobs, not just selected samples. These galleries are truly indicative of the work I perform, the extent of my coverage and the quality of the images I provide. I am a "photojournalistic" wedding photographer. This means I photograph all aspects of your event from start to finish. I have newspaper experience which means I focus on people doing things rather than static poses. I focus on being creative and developing artistic images from your wedding day with plenty of black and white, sepia and other effects as necessary to make your images really stand out. Instead of offering a range of packages, I just give you EVERYTHING.

I shoot it as I see it. Of course I shoot the traditional "formals" but I just ask you to please make a checklist and assign a friend to gather the necessary people together for me to achieve the shot. I will not be responsible for any "missed" shots during the formal photo session. If you want creative shots outside the happenings of your wedding please allow time for this or schedule a bridal or engagement shoot in advance. I've shot a lot of weddings and know what to expect, but I always welcome your ideas on doing things differently. After all, this is YOUR wedding! YOU are the boss. I also don't mind friends and family taking their own photos "over my shoulder." I am not out to sell prints.

I am passionate about my photography and take great pleasure in capturing special moments and making people look their very best. The brides who hire me to be their photographer are more concerned about quality and style of the images they receive rather than price or "byproducts" such as albums or prints. My customers expect a certain level of attention before, during and after their wedding and anticipate being treated as if theirs was the only wedding on my calendar. Brides who hire me are particular about their images and have absolute faith in my abilities. They know I am flexible and empathetic to their needs. As for the pricing, my flat rate means no unexpected charges and an easier choice to make in the process of selecting among "packages."

If I am already booked on your date, you can still hire me and select from among my associate freelance photographers to cover your wedding. All images would be processed by me and your contract would be with me. | Associate Photographer Samples | EQUIPMENT: I carry two professional digital SLR cameras with professional lenses, flashes and battery packs. I have the necessary gear to make sure I am prepared for anything. Email me if you would like to learn more about the gear I bring to a shoot. I am constantly upgrading by equipment and researching ways of doing my job better. I attend seminars, network with other professional photographers and strive to make each shoot better than ever.

Deposit: I need a $150 deposit/retainer fee to hold your reservation. This is applied to your total bill. I accept checks to my PO Box, or online payments through PayPal (including credit cards). I must receive payment for your deposit within five mail delivery days of you hiring me unless we arrange otherwise. I must turn away other wedding inquiries because the date is "taken." After the five-day period has passed with no payment received, I will still keep you on my calendar but I will respond to other inquiries, stating the date is available. It is then a first-paid basis on who gets the date for their wedding. Balance is due at or before the wedding. Receipts in electronic PDF format will be emailed for all payments received. Contracts: I'll ask you to sign an agreement for photography services before we do anything. This gives me permission to photograph you and your event and releases me from photo liability. The contract describes services to be rendered and price. I do not post images of poor taste and will gladly remove specific images from my website upon request of the client. Contracts are only valid upon receipt of deposit. If a deposit is "waived" it will be considered "submitted payable" and part of the final payment for purposes of validating the contract. I'll send you a copy of the signed contract with your receipt.

Transportation fee: No charge for events up to 50 miles from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Events 50-115 miles (one-way) from Tulsa will have a $100 transportation fee for a single destination and then $20 per location. Events beyond 115 miles of Tulsa will include the $100 transportation fee plus an additional $1.00 per mile over 115 miles (based on maps.google.com). Events over 150 miles will also include a $200 lodging fee if the event goes beyond 7 p.m. If you want to hire me for events further away, please send a round-trip plane ticket in addition to the lodging fee. Destination weddings may include additional expenses per individual agreements. Referral credit: If you hire me to shoot your wedding and refer other brides to me, I'll give you a $100 credit on your wedding bill for each referral who pays me a deposit. This offer is valid from the time I receive your deposit until your wedding day. Subsequent referrals who submit a deposit for photo services will earn you a $100 credit toward future photo jobs. No cash back, only credit for referrals.

Album: We live in the virtual age. You probably found me by searching the Internet and much of what you do is conducted online. As my client, you receive all your images in a free online gallery that never expires. This is your online virtual photo album. It can be turned into a slide show and can be shared with friends and family. You can even link images to your personal blog or online community. If you don't want all your images displayed in the "album" I can easily create custom galleries with just the special images you select.

If you still want a "printed" album, like a coffeetable or flushmount book, you might check out these links. Be aware that these are "do-it-yourself" sites where you select your images and upload over the Internet. I may add album design services in the future, but for now please consider the following or similar if you choose me to be your photographer.

ADD-ONS (prices valid only with wedding package):

ENGAGEMENT/BRIDAL PHOTO SESSION: If you select me to be your photographer, I will also be happy to shoot your engagement or bridal portrait which includes a free 20x30" or 20x24"(not framed) bridal or engagement portrait. Allow three weeks processing time (many brides like to have these displayed at the wedding). Normal price without a wedding booking is $300. You pay the full $300 but get a $100 credit toward your wedding photography bill. Payment for the engagement or bridal shoot is due day of the shoot.

IMAGES ON PORTABLE USB DRIVE: $75. You already get all images viewable, printable and downloadable from your free online gallery at http://ibd-designs.smugmug.com, and the gallery does not expire. Maybe you just want all the images at once so you can get photos printed wherever you want. Personally, I think it is a bit of a struggle sifting through a thousand images on those store kiosks when you already get inexpensive prints from your gallery, but if that is what you want to do, or if you just want an archive to keep on hand, I place all your full resolution images on a USB storage device along with a PDF containing thumbnail index proofs (so you can associate file names with images). Price includes production time, materials and delivery cost. I am not convinced the material used in DVD disks is truly designed to last and they are also limited to 4gb (as camera resolution gets better, image sizes will get much larger). Also with the emergence of Blu-ray Disc (http://www.blu-ray.com/info/) the future of DVD media is questionable and you don't want your images saved to a discontinued format. A USB drive is a solid-state device that is very durable, easily stored and easily used. Also, as I alter or add images on your gallery you can download the revised or new images to your USB device. This is a high-capacity drive capable of storing all your full resolution images with room left over for more content.

REHEARSAL PHOTOS: Add photo services of your wedding rehearsal. Price is $100 for up to two hours and then $50 per additional hour with free online gallery and downloadable digital negatives.

BACHELOR/BACHELORETTE PARTY or BRIDAL SHOWER: Add photo services of your pre-wedding festivities. Price is $100 for up to two hours and then $50 per additional hour with free online gallery and downloadable digital negatives.

PERSONAL PHOTO SHOOT: A special gift for the bride to give her new husband. Special photos of her just for him! Price is $300 and includes free online gallery and downloadable digital negatives. Gallery will be made private and password protected. Can be done prior to the wedding or day of the wedding.

SECOND PRO-PHOTOGRAPHER: I have other photographers who can team up with me for extra coverage of your event. Cost for the second photographer is $500. | Associate Photographers |

DISCLAIMER: Wedding photography, unlike studio photography, has so many live variables that it is impossible to guarantee a perfect shot with every pose. While I make every effort to capture perfect images -- through the use of equipment and experience -- it is still possible that some photos may not turn out to your expectations. For this reason, no photo jobs will be refunded. If there is a problem, I will be happy to discuss alternatives, such as a subsequent portrait session. Wedding photos serve as an archive of the event. They are a way to preserve the memories. For this reason, I include both the great and the mundane images on the final disk. I shoot between 500 and 1500 images on average at each wedding depending on duration of the event. I ask the client to pick out their favorites from the online posting so I can concentrate on digitally enhancing these to make them extra special. When viewing my site for samples of my work, please take into consideration I have included all photos, not just the very best. If I or my agent is unable to fulfill our onsite photographic obligations due to equipment malfunction, lost or stolen equipment (photographic or transportation), personal or family emergency or other events beyond our control, I and/or my agents are only liable for refund of any fees already paid by the client, and will arrange some alternative photo shoot at no cost. If I become incapacitated and am unable to shoot your wedding personally, I will absolutely make sure another professional photographer is at your event to fulfill my photographic obligations and this will cost you nothing extra.

My name is Kristi and I recently got married on December 15th. Ian Danziger was our photographer and we absolutely loved him. My husband and I were exactly the same way you are and wanted to make sure you get the best photographer for your event. There is not one thing that we can say bad about him. He was very easy to work with, extremely nice, great photographer, and he comes up with some wonderful ideas.

The other thing I really love about Ian is how well he communicated with me. I had actually talked to other photographers before him in the area and had troubles getting people to either email me back or even call me. I also didn't feel comfortable with them. That was not something I had to go through with him. Before the wedding we were actually emailing and calling each other almost everyday. After talking to him, I never once had doubts about him.

In my engagement pictures he took so many different styles. My husband is actually very shy and like things to be the same as others kind of person and I am the exact opposite. I am a very outgoing and like things to be different kind of person. So, before we met with Ian to take our engagement pictures I had asked him if we could take a few pictures to fit our personalities. Now, Ian and I had never met in person before and the ideas he came up with fit me to a T. He had Kyle (my husband) dress up in a full Santa Suit and me wear my normal clothes with a wedding veil on my head. It was the cutest thing because he made it look like I was telling Santa that all I wanted for Christmas was Kyle. You can actually click on my name on his website and see it if you would like. I did end up using that on our Christmas cards this year. He also took a lot of other pictures as well. They actually turned out better than I could ever dream. When I got to see the pictures of us on his website and then received the disk, I cried because they turned out so good. He really knows how to capture good pictures.

For the wedding, he had called me and asked what time I wanted him to be there. I told him a time and he was there. Then after the wedding he stayed even after my husband and I had left to take more pictures. It was great! Now that my wedding is over, I can look back over them and see exactly what happened, step-by-step. His pictures tell the story of my wedding day.

As you can see, we are very pleased with him and have nothing bad to say. He did everything I wanted and asked plus more. His ideas were wonderful and pictures turned out great. We have already decided to use him again in the future.
